A HEXHAM duo appeared on television screens over the weekend.
Dad and daughter duo, Wayne and Leanne from Hexham, featured on BBC One's quiz show The Hit List on Saturday, August 24.
Marvin and Rochelle Humes host the music quiz, where contestants must name hit songs and artists from the 1960s onwards, spanning every style of music, as quickly as possible for a chance to win up to £10,000.
The competing pairs were colleagues Holli and Rachael from Perth and Arbroath, couple Wes and Anisa from Kent, and dad and daughter Wayne and Leanne from Hexham.
Leanne had a story to share regarding JLS, a boy band that Marvin is still a member of.

"I used to sign up for a lot of competitions for concert tickets when I was younger and I signed up to get tickets to see JLS. I won the tickets, but also Aston's shoes from the One Shot video," she told the presenters at the start of the show.
The first part of the show's gameplay involved each couple listening to five seconds from five songs spanning five decades which were all top five hits and had to identify each song.
Wayne and Leanne's turn saw them come up against Jennifer Lopez in the 1990s era with If You Had My Love, and the Bee Gees in the 1970s with Stayin' Alive.
The couple scored one point in the round, putting them in third place behind Holli and Rachael in second place and Wes and Anisa in first with three points.
Moving into round two, the first two teams to reach 10 points would progress to round three and the other would be eliminated.
The first to reach 10 points were Wes and Anisa, leaving both other teams with six points.
Unfortunately, Holli and Rachael reached 10 points first, although it was a close tie with Wayne and Leanne, who just missed out having scored eight points.
The winners of Saturday's show were Holli and Rachael who took home £3,028.
