Comedian Alfie Moore is set to return to Queen's Hall, following his previous sell-out show in 2022.
With his performance titled A Face for Radio, Mr Moore is scheduled for a 7.30pm start, on Friday, October 11.
He comes from a varied background, widely described as both extensive and intriguing.
His early life involved several years as a stage school brat, as he became part of theatre and television.
Born and raised in Sheffield, Mr Moore endured an early career in the city's notorious steelworks industry, before making the grinding, grimy transition to the Humberside Police service as recession hit.
Mr Moore's years in the steel industry and as a cop gave him a face for radio, as he jokes.
His shift from policing to becoming a BBC radio star occurred in his 40s.
But when TV fame beckoned, the question was whether he could grasp it or was he past it.
His comeback show is set to run for 1hr 30mins with an interval, with audience members required to be aged 14 or over.
Tickets are priced at £18.50 and can be purchased through the Queen's Hall website.
