World-renowned rally legend Malcolm Wilson is set to visit Prudhoe Social Club.
On October 2, Hexham and District Motor Club is hosting 'An Evening with Malcolm Wilson,' where he will share anecdotes and stories from his illustrious motorsport career.
Mr Wilson, owner of the Ford M-Sport World Rally Team, has been 'synonymous' with rallying all over the world for more than 40 years.
Starting as a driver, he clinched two British national titles in the late 1970s.
His ultimate triumph came in 1994 when he fulfilled a long-held ambition by bagging the British International crown.
His journey from novice driver to globally recognised team owner promises an entertaining evening for enthusiasts.
The evening follows a successful night earlier in the year with rally great Phil Short.
A 'traditional Hexham buffet' will be provided.
Tickets, inclusive of the buffet, are priced at £6 for Hexham members and £16 for non-members.
They can be purchased from the motor club's website http://www.hexhammotorclub.co.uk/malcolmwilson.
