A 'SUPERSTAR' was nominated this week's Person of the Week.
Dorothea Routledge, 92, was voted this week's Person of the Week by Shirley Nixon.
Shirley said: "She’s a superstar and deserves recognition."
Dorothea's daughter Jane Burns owns Just Flowers in Haltwhistle and said her 'incredible' mother has been involved in collecting money for the town's carnival for three decades.

Jane said her mother had always lived in the town and was well-known in the community.
"She used to be a nurse and then my dad had a fruit and vegetable shop and she worked in that. They had it for 45 years before me and my brother Mark took it over.
"Mark started the business Top Signs in Hexham and I started my flower shop, Just Flowers. My mam has always helped me in the flower shop and she still comes every day for a coffee.
"She's friendly and everyone knows her in Haltwhistle. She's well-known in town."
Jane said she and Dorothea have been involved in the Haltwhistle Carnival for more than 30 years and her mother still collected at this year's event in July.
"She's a collector there and won an award for the longest-serving Carnival collector. She gets the most money in her bucket," Jane said.
The organisers of Haltwhistle Carnival posted on Facebook: "Congratulations to Dorothea for being our most 'mature' collector. At the grand young age of 92 years old, she was still collecting for Carnival 2024.
"Dorothea has collected for every one of our 31 years, the rattling of her bucket has raised thousands of pounds and Dorothea's bucket has nearly always been the most full. There is a lesson to be learned from this kind of community involvement - everyone should be more Dot. Thank you on behalf of Haltwhistle for 31 years of support and commitment."
Jane has organised the creation of the Carnival's Princess float every year, which Dorothea helps with.
Speaking of why Dorothea was nominated for Person of the Week, Jane said: "She's always collected the most money in the bucket [for Haltwhistle Carnival]. She's lived here all her life."
Nowadays, Dorothea enjoys going out on her mobility scooter with her dog and meeting friends.
"I think she's an amazing woman for 92 years old, she still drives her car and everything. I hope I'm like that when I'm 92, if I live that long!" Jane said.
