A study has revealed the best walks across the UK for scenery, wildlife, and peace and quiet.

Which? revealed the UK's best walks to enjoy this autumn, based on 1,807 Which? members, who were asked to rate more than 51 of the nation’s favourite routes.

The top walk in Northumberland was Sycamore Gap, which was rated at 86 per cent for overall satisfaction and how likely people are to recommend it.

Which? members rated it four out of five in terms of difficulty.

Northumberland National Park rated the walk as moderate difficulty as there are steep climbs and descents on the route and it can be slippery.
