We Buy Cars, Hexham sponsors Corbridge FC with new kits

We Buy Cars Hexham buys, sells and sources cars and also carries out recoveries.

John James owns the business and has sponsored new kits for Corbridge United Junior Football Club to commemorate the business's third anniversary.

When John was growing up, Hexham Football Club was full and was unable to take on new members.

He joined Corbridge Football Club instead, where he was welcomed 'with open arms'.

John said Corbridge FC has a 'special place' in his heart and hopes to repay them by supporting the club and parents to pay for new kits.

He said: "To commemorate the third anniversary of our business on August 24, we’ve chosen to sponsor another football club this year. This date holds great significance for us, and now, for many others, as it symbolizes a moment of shared joy - not just for our team, but for all the beneficiaries, including the young athletes who wear our brand with pride, and their proud families watching on."

We Buy Cars reinvests its profits into the business and community. More than 25 per cent of profits support local sponsorship such as youth football clubs, foodbanks, and book donations.

"Our sponsorship initiatives are driven by a commitment to becoming an integral part of the community. Our primary focus is to alleviate some of the financial burdens parents face, such as the cost of new kits. By sponsoring local clubs, we embed ourselves in the community, showing that we reinvest locally and care for those around us.

"Corbridge holds a special place in my heart, as it was the first football team I played for as a child. Returning to the same training ground on the first Saturday of the season, watching the team play in kits branded with our logo, was an incredibly nostalgic experience. In a way, this sponsorship feels like giving back to my younger self."
