A fruit and vegetable association has celebrated its 100th annual show.

The Beaufront and District Fruit and Vegetable Association's event took place on September 7.

John Middleton, secretary of the Beaufront Show, said: "We were blessed with good weather whilst setting up the show on Friday, and Saturday turned out to be a lovely sunny day.

"The morning of the show saw a steady stream of entrants benching their exhibits before the judges' deadline.

"The final display, a credit to all who took part."

With more than 400 entries, the judges had a tough task, as most were of 'equally high quality'.

The trophies were won by a mix of old and new exhibitors.
