A free sporting event encouraged women to try waterskiing.
Kielder Waterski and Wakeboard Club, based at Kielder Water and Forest Park, hosted a Ladies' Event Day to encourage more women to try the sport.
Just Add Water and Ski was held on Sunday, September 15.
Club chairman Paul Smith said 21 women aged 11 to 67 took to the water and learned the sport of waterskiing.
"All 21 people who attended left Kielder Waterski Club with a sense of achievement, the enthusiasm on the day was electric, and all guests were inspired to ski again," Mr Smith said.
"Professional boat drivers and instructors were engaged for the day. Lady Luck appeared in the form of flat calm water and pleasant weather. If success is measured in smiles and happy faces then Sunday can go down as a really great day."
