A CHARITY event will raise money for a vulnerable children's charity this weekend.
Sophistikaty's Hair and Beauty salon, based at Prudhoe Front Street, will hold a fundraiser on Sunday, September 22 for the charity, Action for Children.
The fundraiser will be at Prudhoe Town Football Club at Essity Park from noon onwards.
There will be a bouncy castle, food vans, face painting, entertainment including a magician and music, a charity football match, hair braiding, various charity events including sponge throwing and cake stalls.
The clubhouse will be open to serve soft drinks and alcoholic drinks.
Katy Denton, the owner of Sophistikaty's, said: "It's to try and raise as much awareness and money as possible for Action for Children, which supports children and young people who need love, care, homes and family and we want to do everything we can to help them support vulnerable children."
