Three women have taken over a salon in Hexham.

In 2020, Arianne Grant, Ruth Moore, and Krystina Bowman decided to go self-employed at Salon Ruelle, a boutique salon in Hexham, despite the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Four years on, the trio has been given the opportunity to take over the salon from its former owner, Georgina Tordoff, who is moving to New Zealand.

The three women have renamed the space ARK Salon, reflecting their initials and 'shared vision'.

They aim to create a salon that is a 'sanctuary of luxury, style, and empowerment'.

In addition to hair services, they are expanding their offerings by hiring a beauty therapist and introducing a full range of beauty treatments.

This addition marks a new direction for ARK Salon, where clients can experience a 'holistic approach to self-care, from hair to beauty'.

The women are passionate about creating a space where clients and staff feel 'valued and supported'.

They are committed to working with other businesses, further benefiting the community.

The team has also undertaken a renovation to transform the space into something they are proud of.

Every detail has been considered to reflect their 'aesthetic and high standards', ensuring that clients leave with 'beautiful hair and beauty treatments', as well as an 'experience of relaxation and care'.

Their vision is to create an environment that feels 'welcoming, luxurious, and inspiring' for everyone who walks through the doors.
