Organisations interested in community energy projects are invited to a free online training session.
Northern Powergrid and partner Regen are hosting the event on October 3.
Community energy groups, climate action groups, and local authorities in the North East, Yorkshire, and northern Lincolnshire, are invited to register their interest.
Northern Powergrid's vulnerability policy manager, Ella Pinder, said: "Northern Powergrid is a trusted voice in our sector to help address the climate emergency and we want to ensure community energy stakeholders have the advice they need from us, and our partners, to make informed choices."
Alex Robertson, Regen’s local net zero project manager, said: “We’re pleased to work in partnership with Northern Powergrid to deliver training and support to help local energy groups drive positive change in their communities.
"There will be the opportunity to learn about the inspiring work of peers delivering energy advice services, retrofit programmes and community heat networks."
Those interested should email: engage@northernpowergrid.com.
