A new study has revealed the best and worst areas in Northumberland for buying a house with a garden.
The Garden Space Report, created by MG Timber and Online Marketing Surgery, ranked areas based on home outdoor space.
Seahouses, Belford, and Wooler topped the list with the most private garden space, boasting a combined area of more than 2.7 million square metres.
Following closely were Darras Hall, Stamfordham, and Heddon, with Stocksfield, Riding Mill, and Corbridge in third place.
Other areas making the top 10 include Longhorsley, Hepscott, Capheaton, and Haydon Bridge and Allendale.
At the other end of the spectrum, Ashington Hirst was found to have the least garden space, with only 265,009 square metres.
Blyth Town, Ashington West and South, and Newbiggin also featured among the areas with the least private garden space.
The report used data from the Office for National Statistics on access to gardens and public green spaces in the UK to determine the property garden space area for all neighbourhoods in Northumberland.
The findings provide a comprehensive guide for prospective homebuyers looking for properties with ample outdoor space in the region.
