A film documenting a dance artist's work with disabled children and young people at Hexham Priory School is set to be shown at various venues and festivals.
'About Us' showcases the Breathing Space project, led by dance artist Susie Tate, which has shared an inclusive dance approach with the pupils of Hexham Priory School.
The filmmaker, Alice Underwood, is also a trained dancer.
'About Us' will be shown across the autumn at venues including Hexham Priory School itself, the Royal Victoria Infirmary children’s ward (and the hospital's cinema) in Newcastle, and Headway Arts' Come on Down festival in Blyth.
Funding for the project was awarded by Postcode X Trust and raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
