A tribute concert will be held for a former head of Northumberland County Music Service.
The event, on October 26, at West End Methodist Church in Hexham, will honour Hilary Gordon, who died suddenly in the summer of 2023.
Ms Gordon was known for her significant impact on music education in Northumberland, having provided instrumental lessons and initiatives that reached nearly every child in the county.
The concert will feature a diverse range of music from various performers, reflecting the broad spectrum of her influence.
Performers include Maggie Feeney, Ian K Brown, Julie Bainbridge, Landermason, Brampton Chamber Choir, and a selection of student solos and ensembles.
Ms Gordon's passion for music continued even after her retirement, as she remained actively involved in various musical activities.
The concert will start at 3pm, with light refreshments available afterwards.
While there is no ticket admission, all donations will be given to the British Heart Foundation and initiatives supporting young people in music.
