Chollerton C of E First School, in Chollerton, has installed two new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
Installation was completed by Armstrong Renewables Ltd, with chargers produced by Sevadis and managed through the Fuuse system.
Previously, residents of Chollerton had limited access to EV chargers, making daily use of electric vehicles more challenging.
The school hopes the new chargers will provide support for school staff and residents and encourage a transition to greener transport.
The chargers were funded by grants from the government's Workplace Charging Scheme, and from the Ray Wind Funds CIC Community Benefit Fund, established by energy company Vattenfall for the benefit of the communities hosting the Ray Windfarm.
