Local performers will come together at the end of October to hold a tribute concert in memory of Hilary Gordon.
The concert will take place on October 26 from 3pm at the West End Methodist Church in Hexham.
Hilary Gordon, who passed away in summer 2023, had a big impact on the lives of thousands of young people in Northumberland during her time as the head of the Northumberland County Music Service.
She continued to be involved in music in many different ways after she retired, so the concert will represent this by having performances from a broad spectrum of performers.
Those involved include Maggie Feeney, Ian K Brown, Julie Bainbridge, Landermason, Brampton Chamber Choir, and a range of student solos and ensembles.
It is free to attend but any donations will go towards the British Heart Foundation and supporting young people in music.
