Hexham's Muro Lounge has thanked residents for their ongoing support after an "amazing" first year.
The café lounge opened on Fore Street on November 1, 2023 as the second north-east location - the first being Morpeth.
Since then, they have built up a steady stream of regulars who pop in for a coffee or a meal with staff knowing exactly what some of them are going to order.
Recent reviews on Google describe it as having "a great atmosphere" and "superb service."
Judith de Vries, manager of Muro Lounge, said: "From November 1 last year to now, I can't believe that's a year that's been already gone. It's incredible.
"But the people of Hexham have been great support. It's a great community and it's been a real success."
Loungers, the company behind Muro Lounge, is keen to support the community and will host outreach events as well as social events throughout the year.
These include quiz nights, live music, and having a team that goes out to pick-up litter in the town.
Judith said: "We do a lot of outreach things with community. We have quiz night and live music as well. So all things like that really support the community.
"I think for Loungers as a company, community is at the heart of everything that they do."
One of the most memorable moments of the last year for Judith was the opening night where local businesses were invited to pop in and have a look around the lounge.
The positive feedback combined with the general morale made for "a great experience."
But, looking ahead to the coming year, there are lots of exciting plans to further increase the community presence.
This includes a Lounge Aid month in December which will see them raising money for Tynedale Hospice.
Judith added: "We're constantly brainstorming what other events we can do.
"We're planning a parent and baby morning with supportive items being given out. If you're struggling, we can give you some like baby bags with nappies and bits and pieces. That's to come probably in December or January."
