A winter market will take place in Acklington, showcasing a range of handmade products from artists, makers, and small businesses.
The Forage Lifestyle Winter Market is due to be held from 1pm to 7pm on November 8 and 9, and will be held at the newly refurbished events barn, The End Hemmel, at the Rigg & Furrow brewery and tap room.
The market will feature around 45 stalls on each day, showcasing products from the North East and beyond.
The market is organised by Forage Lifestyle founders Ellie Davison-Archer and Steven Eyles, who have seen more than 1,400 visitors at a single event in the past.
The two aim to create a space for creatives and makers to showcase their products to an audience.
The Forage Lifestyle brand was born out of a shared love of handcrafted objects, interior spaces, and sustainable products.
It offers a collection of home and lifestyle items for those 'finishing interior touches and thoughtful gifting'.
Initially, Ms Davison-Archer and Mr Eyles formed Forage Lifestyle as a pop-up concept store at other marketplaces.
They later decided to expand by curating selling events of their own, using their event experience and creative contacts.
During the Winter Market, the Rigg & Furrow taproom will serve 'artisan brewed' drinks.
These can be enjoyed with 'local street food' in the indoor seating area or outside in the paddock.
The Winter Market provides an opportunity for independent shopping this festive season.
