Ed Byrne is coming to Hexham's Queen's Hall Arts Centre next week.
The comedian is set to perform his hit show, Tragedy Plus Time, on Thursday, October 17, at 7.30pm.
It is said to test Mark Twain's quote that "humour is defined as Tragedy Plus Time" by "mining the most tragic event in his life for laughs."
The show is recommended for those aged 14 and above.
Tickets are on sale now, and are still available, starting from £33.
This comes after the comedian, who is known for hosting Live at the Apollo and appearing on panel shows including QI and Mock the Week, had a successful year at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023.
His show was described as the "Best Reviewed Stand Up Show at Edinburgh 2023" by British Comedy Guide.
Hailed as "hilarious, extremely dark, profoundly touching and resolutely unsentimental," by Rolling Stone, Tragedy Plus Time has received high praise from various publications.
The Arts Desk said: "This is no misery memoir, Byrne is too talented a comic for that."
Edinburgh Reviews said: "Poignant, touching, spiky and laugh-out-loud funny... beautifully written and flawlessly performed."
The London Evening Standard said: "He has delivered a fantastically funny and moving monologue where there is no doubt that we are seeing the authentic Ed Byrne has hit new heights!"
