TWO of Britain’s leading landscape photographers - Jason Friend and David Taylor - are jointly hosting small-group photography workshops in locations across Northumberland every month in 2025.

The locations include photogenic spots such as Bamburgh and the Dunstanburgh Castle coast, as well as more hidden locations, such as the Coquet Valley.

Other workshop locations include Hadrian’s Wall, Holy Island, Whitley Bay and Seaton Sluice, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Simonside and Lordenshaws, Alnwick, and Bellingham and Hareshaw Linn.

The pair have decades of photography experience between them and both know Northumberland intimately.

Mr Friend said he believes that ‘learning in a group is a fun way for everyone to acquire new photography skills, meet fellow photography enthusiasts and make new friends.’

Mr Taylor added that ‘Northumberland is underrated as a place to take photos – it’s a wonderfully attractive county.’

During the workshops, the duo will be on hand to provide guidance and offer tips to help participants 'create shots that capture Northumberland’s beauty'.
