Folk musicians James Delarre and Saul Rose are set to tour in November.

The pair, who have enjoyed a friendship spanning nearly 20 years since meeting at the Sidmouth Folk Festival, will be bringing their blend of traditional folk tunes and songs to audiences across the country.

Mr Delarre, a fiddle player and singer, is 'well-known within the traditional English folk scene.'

He has been a founding member of bands such as 'Topette!!', 'Mawkin', and 'Mawkin:Causley'.

Mr Rose, a master English melodeon player and singer, has been part of various bands, including 'Faustus', 'The Eliza Carthy Trio', and 'Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band'.

Their latest album, 'Kith & Kin', is a collection of nine favourite tunes and songs from their live set, reflecting their mutual understanding practiced over years of collaboration.

The album has been praised by critics, with Bright Young Folk stating: "'Kith and Kin' is good news for every folk music fan."

The duo's music has a 'balance of excitement, communication, and craft', with each musician taking the lead at different points, creating a free-flowing dialogue.

The winter tour will kick off at Nuneaton Folk Club on November 6, followed by Allendale Village Hall on November 9, and concluding at Norden Farm Centre For The Arts in Maidenhead on November 22.

Doors will open at 7.00pm on November 9 and tickets will cost £15.40.
