Artists will have new opportunities to exhibit at the Forge Gallery in Allendale in 2025.
The gallery, which hosted a variety of solo exhibitions throughout 2024, will now invite collaborative exhibitions.
This change will allow two or three artists to share the exhibition space, increasing the number of artists who can exhibit and lowering individual costs.
Currently, the gallery is showcasing 'Lepus,' the first solo exhibition by Gillian Swaile, a local printmaker.
The exhibition, which features linocut prints, screen prints, and a monoprint collage, is inspired by the artist's lifelong love of the natural world and celebrates the life of the hare.
In November, the exhibition spaces will be filled with textiles by various artists and craft designers.
The gallery, which has a high demand for solo exhibitions, is now welcoming more artists to apply for exhibition space in 2025.
Interested artists can get in touch with the gallery team to discuss potential exhibitions.
The gallery can be contacted by telephone on 01434 683975 or visited in the Market Place, Allendale Town, near Hexham, Northumberland, NE47 9BD.
