A cinema event celebrated films made by community groups in Hexham.
The Forum Cinema hosted the "Foscars" event, in partnership with Stage Fright CIC, Gateway into the Community, WeCan Enable, and Hexham Priory School.
Each group created their own film which was shown on the big screen.
The audience applauded each film, followed by a screening of Matilda Sing Along, chosen by the groups.
The event concluded with an Oscar-style awards ceremony, introduced by Alison Freeman of BBC's Look North, who got the audience involved.
The film-making equipment, editing laptops, workshops, and filmmakers' fees were covered by a crowdfunding initiative through Spacehive.
More than 40 people, businesses, and groups contributed, and the North of Tyne Combined Authority donated 75 per cent of the final target.
The equipment is stored in the cinema and is available for these groups to use at any time.
The Forum Cinema has announced that it will host another Foscars event in October next year.
Groups working with people with additional needs who wish to participate are encouraged to contact the cinema.
