WE asked our readers where the most picturesque places were in Hexham and the Tyne Valley.
Here's what they said.
Callerhues Crag was voted for by Alice Skye. The crag is near Hareshaw Linn, Bellingham.
She said elsewhere in Tynedale, there are 'some really stunning places'.
She listed 'Ravensheugh Crags, Staward Peel in late October, Pike Rigg and Grey Nag when the ground is frozen on a crisp day, Carter Pike, Brownley Hill' as other picturesque places to visit.
Hexhamshire
Jordan Dodwell said: "Top of Hexhamshire looking back down over the valley."
The parish of Hexhamshire covers a large and mostly sparsely populated area, including the hamlets of Whitley Chapel, Steel, Dye House, Juniper and Ordley.
The North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Carol Henderson said: "The North Pennines, the drive from Allendale to Allenheads."
Rob Turnbull said: "The road from Allenheads, through Sinderhope towards Allendale."
Blanchland
The village of Blanchland is set beside the river in a wooded section of the Derwent Valley and is also located in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Jill Callaghan said: "Driving down the hill from the Durham side into Blanchland on a cold day and seeing smoke coming out of The Lord Crewe chimney. Also driving along the fell tops on the way to and from Nenthead."
Allen Valleys
Paul Lewis said the East Allen Valley, set in the North Pennines, was the most picturesque place.
Jane May Darling-Smith also chose a spot in the North Pennines, near Allendale: "Folly Lane, Catton and the amazing views."
Sycamore Gap
Evon Smith said: "It was Sycamore Gap to me and still is in my opinion."
Cawfields Quarry
June Reed voted for Cawfields which she thought was the most picturesque spot.
Hareshaw Linn, Bellingham
Shelley Marie Murray-Hill voted for the walk at Hareshaw Linn, which is described by the Northumberland National Park as a '3.5 mile circular trail that leads you into a lush, wooded gorge'.
The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre, Once Brewed, Hexham
Andrew David Robson chose the roof of The Sill as the most beautiful spot.
