easyJet has launched a new route from Newcastle Airport to Paris.
The first flight took off on October 27 and will operate up to six days a week, with fares starting at £27.99 one way.
With a flight duration of just 1 hour and 45 minutes, passengers can quickly reach the city to explore its landmarks, enjoy the Moulin Rouge, or visit Disneyland Paris.
Richard Knight, chief operating officer at Newcastle Airport, said: “We are delighted easyJet is continuing to expand its route network from the Airport and it is fantastic to see the start of the airline’s flights to Paris this week."
Ali Gayward, UK country manager at easyJet, said: "Our fantastic new service from Newcastle to Paris will provide our customers in the north east with more travel options than ever before to explore France’s capital and one of Europe’s most popular cities this winter."
New routes to Amsterdam and Lyon are also planned.
