A charity shop has been crowned the best in the North East.
The Tynedale Hospice at Home charity shop, in Hexham, won the prize in The UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Awards.
The shop was one of 6,500 that were nominated across the UK and was named the North East winner after receiving the most votes in a public vote.
The awards were the first of their kind and were launched in June to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Charity Retail Association.
On November 13, Robin Osterley, chief executive of the Charity Retail Association, will be visiting the Fore Street shop to present the award.
David Parkinson, retail operations manager, said: "We were absolutely thrilled to be crowned the North East winner and are delighted to welcome Robin to Hexham.
"The award reflects the hard work and commitment of all our volunteers, staff, and wider community who supported us."
