A Hexham pub has been named as one of the best Bonfire Night celebrations in the UK.

The list, compiled by Motorhome Protect, highlights the top spots for motorhome and campervan owners to enjoy the annual festivities.

The Twice Brewed Inn's Bonfire Night event in Bardon Hill, Hexham, is praised for its lively atmosphere.

The free event, held near Hadrian's Wall, features live music, food, and a spectacular fireworks display.

Mark Sheppard, senior manager at Motorhome Protect, said: "Bonfire Night is a big celebration for many people in the UK, with some motorhome and campervan owners planning their upcoming trips."

He reminds motorhome owners to check the parking regulations before their journey.

He said: "Parking overnight in a campsite is perfectly legal, but you’re generally not allowed to sleep in your vehicle on a road or public car park in the UK.

"Each local authority has their own regulations, so it’s best to double check this before you embark on your Bonfire Night celebrations.”"
