REMEMBRANCE Day services will be held across the UK this week to mark the end of the First World War.

Remembrance Sunday is an opportunity to remember the sacrifices made by servicemen and women in the defence of our country.

We rounded up some of the services which will be taking place in the Tyne Valley.

Local schools, including the Sele First School, will be involved in Hexham's event by making and laying wreaths.
