A charity is inviting people to remember their loved ones at a special event.
Tynedale Hospice at Home's Light up a Life event will take place on Saturday, December 7, at 3pm.
Three venues will host the remembrance service simultaneously: St Mary's Catholic Church in Hexham, Ponteland Parish Church, and St Andrew's Church in Corbridge.
The event will feature music, readings, and reflection, and is open to everyone, regardless of whether or not they have previously used the hospice's services.
People are encouraged to support the charity by donating in memory of their loved ones and putting a "star" on the night sky.
Cathy Bates, fundraising manager, said: "Families have the opportunity to upload a photograph and write a personal message in memory of their loved ones on our virtual night sky.
"It is heart-warming to see the dedications coming in from all areas of our community.
"This time of year can be particularly difficult for families who have lost a loved one so we hope to reach more people in our community who will find comfort in Light up a Life."
