Comedian Lee Kyle has announced a show in Gilsland as part of his 2025 tour.
Mr Kyle plans to visit venues throughout the north of England and into Scotland as part of his 'Bottle It' stand-up comedy tour, which is based on messages in bottles and secrets.
This will include a stop at Gilsland Village Hall on March 15 next year.
He said: "I’m really excited to be taking this show to some wonderful venues and to be telling people this story.
"It has been fascinating getting replies from places I’ve never been and I think that it’s a very funny and honest show.
"Too honest probably."
Tickets for his tour are available at imleekyle.com.
The show will reflect on the harm caused by a big family secret and his struggles with mental health while maintaining a comedic undertone.
He will also explore his unique perspective, shaped by his upbringing on a council estate with a biracial stepson, a predominantly female friendship group, and his solutions for the male mental health crisis.
His stand-up comedy experiences have led to him being particularly known for his quick thinking ad libs and crowd work.
