EasyJet has announced a new route from Newcastle to Malaga.
The flights, which will run twice a week from March 31, 2025, are part of a package of 23 new services launched from eight UK airports.
Tickets are on sale now from £34.99.
Malaga, known for its beaches and nightlife is 'reinventing itself' with new galleries and museums, according to the airline.
This new route follows the relaunch of flights from Newcastle to Alicante and Amsterdam.
Ali Gayward, easyJet's UK country manager, said: "A new service from Newcastle is always great news so we are sure our flights to Malaga, with more package holidays and even more things to do in this growing destination, will go down a treat on Tyneside and among our northeast customers.
"easyJet is always looking to add more great value connectivity for our customers in the north of England and provide even more choice, whether they are booking their next beach or city break or travelling for business."
Leon McQuaid, director of aviation development at Newcastle Airport, said: "The airline's new routes to Amsterdam and Paris are proving very popular with both flight-only and package holiday bookings and I am sure this new route to Malaga will also be well received by our passengers."
