Hexham Tennis Club marked a standout year at their annual awards ceremony.
Over the past year, the club has introduced the sport of padel tennis to the Tyne Valley by building a new purpose-built court.
They have also refurbished three existing tennis courts to improve facilities for the community.
The club recognised individual achievements at the awards presentation evening, which was sponsored by Cartmell Shepherd Solicitors and Hexham-based law firm Nicholson Portnell Solicitors.
Cartmell Shepherd, along with Northumberland County Council, contributed funding to the new developments at Priors Flat, the club's base.
Alan Douglas, a director at Cartmell Shepherd, presented the trophies at the event.
He said: "Cartmell Shepherd Solicitors and Nicholson Portnell Solicitors are very proud to support such a friendly and welcoming club, which is also very forward-thinking and ambitious.
"Developing sporting opportunities for local people is something the club is extremely passionate about and we are happy to be able to play a part in the major developments at the club which involve bringing the emerging sport of padel tennis to the area."
Vince Burini, Hexham Tennis Club chair said: "This was a delightful evening with more participants than ever before.
"It’s wonderful to be able to celebrate such talented players and such a successful year for the club."
