A valuable piece of North East football history is up for auction.
A 1910 FA Cup winner's medal, awarded to Newcastle United director John Graham, is set to be auctioned by Anderson & Garland.
The medal, commemorating Newcastle United's historic win over Barnsley, is expected to fetch between £2,500 and £3,500 at the auction on December 10.
Auctioneer at Anderson & Garland, Harry Pickup, said: "Being based in the North East, we’re uniquely positioned to handle Newcastle United memorabilia.
"FA Cup medals rarely come onto the market, so we’re thrilled to offer this remarkable piece.
"We’ve had the pleasure of selling a few in the past, all achieving fantastic results."
The 1910 FA Cup final replay was a memorable event, with Newcastle United emerging victorious after a hard-fought match.
Despite heavy rain leaving the pitch waterlogged, a large and enthusiastic crowd still turned out, and some entered the pitch area before kickoff.
Mounted police had to intervene and restore order.
This medal is part of a legacy of valuable memorabilia from the 1910 FA Cup final.
