Work to improve Hareshaw Linn have begun.
The work, which began on Monday 25 November, aims to make the area more inviting and accessible.
While the public right of way and residential access will remain open, parking will be limited as a new car park is developed and the existing one is upgraded.
The project is expected to last several weeks, with a planned completion before Christmas.
This is part of the Welcoming Park for All project, which involves major upgrades to Walltown Country Park and Hareshaw Linn, both key visitor sites in Northumberland National Park.
The aim of these developments is to benefit local communities and enhance the status of Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site and Northumberland National Park.
Visitors are advised to follow on-site signs for the latest updates.
The project is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the North East Combined Authority Investment Fund.
