The Hexham Male Voice Choir is preparing for its final concert of the year at Trinity Methodist Church.
'The Magic of Music' event will take place on Thursday, December 14.
The choir will present a mix of popular songs and new pieces, joined by returning guests, The Notelettes, and Ellen Armstrong.
This concert will be significant for the choir as they return to the venue of their first public performance in June 1950.
As well as reliving history, the choir will also be making some.
James Bell, from Haydon Bridge, who released his first solo album Sunthread on CD in the summer, will be performing a track from his album live for the very first time.
The concert is expected to draw both regular attendees and newcomers, with tickets available for purchase online or at the door.
Festive refreshments will be served, and audience participation is encouraged.
A spokesperson for the choir said: "This concert will be particularly special since we will be reliving a piece of Hexham history and also creating some as well.
"We recently found out that the very first public concert by the Male Voice Choir, June 1950, was in Trinity Methodist Church.
"And we will be creating a piece of history - with a world première no less.
"James Bell from Haydon Bridge released his first solo album called Sunthread on CD in the summer, and he is joining us to sing a track from his album live - for the very first time."
