A new dog grooming salon has officially opened in a Tynedale village.
20-year-old Niamh Cassidy, from Corbridge, opened Tyne Tails at 1 St Wilfrid's Road in the village this week.
"I've always loved dogs since I was little, I've always wanted a job where I could work with dogs as well as be creative. I offer all sorts of services for dogs of all sizes," Niamh said.
She offers everything from clip-offs and teddy bear styling cuts to baths and blow dries.
Niamh said she wanted to set up in Corbridge as she loves the village.
"It's got a lovely sense of community and there are loads of dogs and walking spots so I thought it would be a nice place for people to take their dogs for a nice muddy walk and then come into the salon for a bath and freshen up."
Tyne Tails opened on Monday, November 25.
"Being a one-to-one business, I understand no two dogs are the same and everyone has different needs. That's what I like about this business because I can tailor each groom to each dog."
Niamh is fully qualified with a Level 3 diploma in dog grooming and salon management and in canine first aid.
"I've had a lovely response, I'm excited to meet everyone and their dogs when they come in."
