A local care home is spreading Christmas cheer as its annual 'Be a Santa' campaign returns.
Home Instead Tyne Valley is asking the community in Hexham, Corbridge, and Stocksfield to help make someone's Christmas by donating gifts for its 'Be a Santa' campaign.
Local businesses such as Northumbrian Leisure, D3 Associates, and Northumberland Pest Control have donated items.
All of the gifts will be wrapped up and handed out to older people at the Hexham Community Centre Christmas day lunch on December 20.
Pupils from Allendale Pre-School and Allendale Primary School will also be writing a letter to go with the gifts handed out.
They are looking for gifts such as hats, scarves, gloves, books, men and women's hygiene sets, puzzle books, biscuits, chocolates, and more.
Gifts can be donated in drop-off boxes at Boots in Hexham, Corbridge, and Stocksfield until December 13.
