A charity has unveiled its 2025 calendar, spotlighting areas around the Tyne rivers.
The Tyne Rivers Trust 2025 charity calendar features images captured by local photographers.
According to the charity, all proceeds from calendar sales will go towards supporting the trust's mission to 'connect and inspire' people to care for their local river, improve water quality and biodiversity, boosting the region’s prosperity, and ensuring the rivers' resilience to climate change.
EGGER, the Hexham-based plant, funded the production costs of the calendar.
Aidan Pollard, fisheries manager for Tyne Rivers Trust, said: "We are thrilled once again to receive so many beautiful photographs of our rivers and surrounding areas and wildlife.
"As a charity, we rely on funding to allow us to continue our work.
"We hope that people will once again purchase the calendars and enjoy them throughout the year.
"We are extremely grateful to EGGER for funding the production costs of our calendar and their continued support of the work we carry out."
Tobias Zimmermann, production and technical director at EGGER, said: "EGGER is delighted to once again support the Tyne Rivers Trust in their dedicated work to look after the Tyne rivers by funding the production of their calendars.
"The charity’s work is important in trying to tackle the effects of climate change and support the wildlife and landscape of the Tyne rivers.
"This aim aligns with EGGER’s mission to embrace sustainable practices in all aspects of our business and become carbon net zero by 2050."
The calendar's cover image, a photo of the Newcastle Quayside at night, was taken by Susan Cook.
Ms Cook said: "I chose to send a photo taken on the Millennium Bridge at night because the colours created a magical effect.
"The lighting on the bridge is used effectively when there is a special occasion.
"There is a circular route crossing a few of the bridges giving different views."
Tyne Rivers Trust was established in 2004 with the aim of improving the wellbeing of the rivers and people through education, tackling pollution and conservation.
The calendar is available for purchase on the Tyne Rivers Trust website.
