The latest coronavirus figures for Northumberland - cases continue to rise
There have been another 66 positive cases of Coronavirus recorded in Northumberland in the latest 24 hour period.
Government figures show that there have now been 18,444 positive cases of Covid-19 since last March.
Nine wards in our area have recorded more than five positive cases in the last 7-day period.
The figures for these areas are:
Prudhoe South – 12
Hexham Central with Acomb – 11
Ponteland West – 9
Ponteland South with Heddon – 8
Ponteland North – 8
Hexham West – 6
Bywell – 6
Prudhoe North – 5
Hexham East – 5
Figures have since revealed that Morpeth has the highest vaccination rate in England.
