74 new positive cases of Coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hour period.

This means that the total number of positive Covid-19 cases now stands at 18,717 since last March.

In our region, nine wards are among the worst affected areas over the last 7 day period – a decrease from yesterday’s 11.

Despite another rise in cases, there have been 0 deaths in Northumbria NHS Trust Hospitals since May 17, with the total remaining at 731.
