96 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Northumberland during the last 24-hour period.
According to figures from the Government, there have now been 18,889 positive cases recorded since March last year.
Eleven wards in our area have recorded more than five cases over the last seven-day period. These are as follows:
Prudhoe North – 13
Ponteland North – 13
Ponteland West – 12
Ponteland South with Heddon – 10
Hexham East – 10
Prudhoe South – 8
Hexham Central with Acomb – 8
Morpeth North – 7
Stocksfield and Broomhaugh – 6
Hexham West – 5
Haydon and Hadrian - 5
Figures from Public Health England show that there have been no further Covid-related deaths in Northumbria NHS Trust Hospitals since May 17.
