STOCKSFIELD golfer Chris Paisley earned a top-10 finish at the Oman Open, at Al Mouj Golf, in Asia.
The 32-year-old finished in ninth place on Sunday, at four-under-par, alongside fellow Englishman Ashley Chesters, and Scotsman Scott Jamieson.
Paisley’s four rounds of 71, 72, 69 and 72, saw him finish just three strokes behind the winner, Kurt Kitayama of America.
The tournament was disrupted by a sandstorm, with strong winds carrying sand across the course.
Paisley said he was happy with a top-10 finish, but insisted he could have saved a few shots.
The former Stocksfield Golf Club junior is competing in this week's Qatar Masters, which got under way on Thursday.
He opened the tournament with a two-over par first round of 74.
