A motor club in the region has unveiled plans for its summer of events.
Hexham & District Motor Club, as with organisations around the area, has had to patiently wait to be able to return to action following the coronavirus pandemic, but hope to return to action later this year.
The first even planned is the Summer Solstice Navigation Rally on June 19 and the event organisers have confirmed the entry is already over subscribed.
More events are set to continue throughout the summer months including both the Northern Dales Production Car Autotest at Eastgate in Weardale on July 18 and the Great Northern Scenic Tour which takes place over a 120 mile route.
“It’s great to be getting the show back on the road again it’s been far too long since we saw any action and all our members are itching to get out again and enjoy some competitive motoring,” said a spokesman for the Hexham & District Motor Club.
