Former Ponteland rugby star Callum Chick put in a fine performance on his England debut last weekend.
Chick, who lined up for Eddie Jones’ side at Twickenham against the USA on Sunday, started the match as his team went on to claim a 43-29 win.
The game, which was played in front of 10,000 spectators, saw England dominate throughout and Chick, who started the game, completed 53 minutes of action in his first appearance for the side.
England named eight debutants in their starting XV, with 12 usual internationals currently part of the British and Irish Lions squad in South Africa.
His Newcastle Falcons’ side saw a total of three uncapped players feature, with hooker Jamie Blamire - who scored three minutes into his debut - and Trevor Davison also playing.
Chick could also be part of England’s final match as part of their summer series against Canada on Sunday when it also takes place at Twickenham.
Kick off is 3pm and is being shown live on Channel 4.
