Riding Mill players kickstarted the new season with their opening Spring Cup amidst rare sunshine.
The tennis players made the most of the 'rare break' from the heavy rain that has been seen in recent weeks.
Seven pairs of doubles partners competed in a round robin format in a bid for the Spring Cup, providing an 'enjoyable and exciting event' for participants.
At the end, Dave Stewart and Caroline Coates emerged victorious, winning the honours of the day.
