A Hexham based running group took on Leeds Endure last weekend, running for 24 hours straight.
Jog on the Tyne were running at Bramham Park for the 24 hour Leeds Endure in the final weekend of June, and claimed first place after some incredible efforts from their representatives.
The group, which was established by Jen Lapping in 2009, travelled down to Yorkshire for the event, which sees runners taken on a five-mile relay for 24 hours.
Jog on the Tyne, Jog on the Tyne Too and Jog on the Tyne Tutu, plus two solo runners Rachel Wyse and JotT founder Jen, took part.
Despite sleep deprivation and horrible weather conditions, runners in the female category managed to complete 31 laps totalling 155 miles, which saw them claim first place.
Rachel and Jen, meanwhile, ran a remarkable 80 miles each in the solo category.
On Facebook, Jog on the Tyne wrote: "Another fabulous weekend for some of the Jog on the Tyne runners who took on the Endure 24 at Leeds. Well done to all who took part you are amazing."
