Free family swimming sessions are being offered by Prudhoe Town Council to promote water safety.
Following the success of a water safety event on July 20, Mayor Angie Scott proposed at a meeting on July 25 that the council fund three sessions, blending safety skills and fun activities.
The proposal was accepted.
The council is delighted to announce that the sessions at Prudhoe Waterworld will be available to families in Prudhoe and Mickley.
Families are invited to a 30-minute session to learn critical water safety knowledge, followed by half an hour of exciting water activities.
The council stresses only one session per family can be booked.
The sessions are planned for August 11, August 18, and August 25, all between 4pm to 5pm.
Booking is available via Eventbrite with spots limited.
