Hexham tennis club ran a competitive mixed tournament using all six of its courts.
Following a successful ladies pizza and Pimms evening tournament, the Hexham club tennis club hosted the tournament on Sunday, 17 August, featuring 24 members.
Each of the competitors played four sets against, and with, different players, to create eventual finalists Jonny Kearney (who with Isobel Davison kindly organised the event) and Kevin Duffy beating Sean Stephen and George Miller.
Members also enjoyed a fabulous potluck tea which was enjoyed between sets.
Club member Caroline Armstrong said: "If you are looking to play there will still be lots of mixed, ladies and men's tennis happening at our club in Hexham. Especially as three of our six courts are being refurbished in September enabling winter play when weather allows."
